Welcome to the ADT North American Regional Leadership Meeting. We look forward to welcoming you to La Jolla, San Diego, California. For those of you from colder Northern climates, this is a wonderful time to visit California!
Some highlights of the meeting:
The 2013 La Jolla meeting is open. Due to limited meeting space and time constraints, available presentation allotments will be limited, based on abstract content and submission date. 2013 ADT North America Regional Leadership Group encourages our colleagues to submit papers for consideration. See Call for Papers for details and submission instructions.
Regional Leadership Groups (RLGs)
As the ADT movement expended, International colleagues wished to initiate Regional Leadership Groups (RLGs). RLGs have thus far been established in North America, Japan and China. The RLGs provide opportunity for colleagues to meet and communicate in the periods between the International Triennial ADT Conferences. The RLGs are valuable in allowing regional interests to be developed and for colleagues within a region to get to know one another. The RLGs also provide a forum to colleagues that allows for development of regional strategies to participate in the International Triennial ADT Conferences.
Importance of Industry Partner Participation –
A Unique Aspect of the ADT
An important aspect of the ADT is that the clinical, industry and science world all have an equal role to play in the organization. This requires that industry partner of the ADT actively participate in the ADT to present their technology development. In this manner the RLGs also bring together colleagues from industry, clinicians, clinical scientists and basic scientists in to a synergistic environment.
